Music Theory & AP Music Theory
Music theory has always been an important part of my teaching. My goal isn't simply to teach students what to play, but to help them understand why the music works.
In addition to incorporating theory into piano lessons, I offer one-on-one music theory instruction for students who want to go deeper.
AP Music Theory students: Private instruction is available for high-school students who would benefit from additional help with harmony, analysis, ear training, sight singing, dictation and other course concepts.
Available in person in Decatur or online via Zoom.
